Sweet Harmony, part of London Design Festival

Limited edition risograph prints by Claudia Schenk, Trockenbrot

Sweet Harmony: Radio, Rave & Waltham Forest, 1989-1994 has been included in this weeks London Design Festival. The annual event is coming to Walthamstow 12 to 20 September 2020, in a community event called the William Morris Design Line.

We have two small exhibitions included in the festival, both celebrating design.

The first is at Signature Brew, a brewery open to the public off Blackhorse Lane. It includes a selection of copies of Ravescene magazine and rave flyers, including those designed by Tim Strudwick and Mike Stone, plus flyers from the Phatmedia Archive and collection of Chelsea-Louise Berlin – all relating to local events and collected as part of a project archive. It also includes working risography prints and proofs by our designer on the project, Claudia Schenk from Trockenbrot.

The second mini-exhibition is at Armstrong Audio, on Blackhorse Lane. This includes the map and poster which are part of the publication and the complete series of limited editions risograph flyers which Claudia designed and printed to advertise the project. The publication will also be for sale there.
